  yeah, so boris johnson has plunged the whole of the uk back into a second lockdown.

  kids are still going to school (thank goodness!

  ) but this second lockdown is ruining the economy and killing small businesses.. the first lockdown was forgivable because, at the time, nobody knew what we were dealing with.. but now, we know more and more about covid-19.. it is lethal to elderly people (the average age of deaths with covid in the uk is 82 years - the average age of deaths without covid in the uk is 81 years).. it is also lethal to obese people and people with diabetes.. i'd imagine hiv+ people are another vulnerable group.. but to everyone else, catching covid is fairly similar to catching the flu.

  Stan...if you can't see it yourself by now...that there is MUCH MORE GOING ON.....whatever I say will bounce off you like truth to a JW.....you have your paradigm...and I have mine.....

  does your paradigm come with any evidence or proof ?

  are you seriously suggesting that most nations on the planet have some hidden agenda involving this virus ? And that those countries that have resorted to a lockdown have done so knowing the massive risk to their economy ?

  Isnt it more boringly honest to accept its yet another plague-?-like so many before it--that has bought catastrophic repercussions but will eventually either burn itself out or be brought under control by vaccination.

  here we are--3 months later--almost 110,000 here in the UK have now died within 28 days of a positive covid test. Thats double the number at the start of this thread.

  over recent years--the average morbity rate is .9%--so about 600,000 deaths each year.

  thats about 1643 deaths each day--from all causes.

  covid is currently claiming about 1400 a day.

  covid aint going anywhere--except mutating.

  ( i have to as my wife is a dyed -in - the wool, and stick-in-the mud pioneer witness.

  i have no possibility of leaving as it would create havoc in my life and at 68 years of age i just don't want the hassle of having to cope with the ramifications of disassociating myself.

  Back before 1975. When i was still in, it was not uncommon for couples with kids of their own, to start association and even get baptised..but in most cases they were born ins that had never got baptised...left as teenagers ..sowed their oats and came back in to survive armageddon. Of course that date threat no longer works.

  when i was a kid in the late sixties the type of books we would study was very intense compared to the bull shit pablum that they put out today?

  i mean the finished mystery and others now its these stupid books that don't dive deep into the beliefs.
